Companion Cremation
Our Companion cremation package offers respectful communal cremation for pet parents who prefer not to have the remains of their pet returned. After cremation, the ashes are spread in designated green spaces on our property, ensuring the peaceful resting place of your pet’s remains.

When will I receive my pet's remains after they pass?
In Memoriam has scheduled pickups and returns for veterinarians twice a week, with returns made within 72 hours. Expedited service is also available.
What does my pet come back in if I choose the individual cremation package?
Can I select an alternative to the memorial urn that comes with the individual pet cremation?
Yes, upgrades are available, and purchases can receive a 10% discount.
Can my pet be separated into more than one urn?
Yes, additional urns can be purchased to separate remains.
What is the most popular way to memorialize my pet?
Submitting a pet story and photos to the tribute section of the website or carrying cremation jewelry is popular.
Equine and Large Pet Cremation
Handling the farewell for animals over 500 pounds.
With our specialized equipment and expertise, In Memoriam is the only cremation facility in the Northern Virginia area equipped to handle animals over 500 pounds. We also extend our services through Maryland, Richmond, and Charlottesville. Our price includes recovery, transport, and cremation. Optional personalized urns with nameplates are available.
Additional fees may apply based on location, circumstance, and difficulty of recovery. Payment is expected at the time of service.

Private Memorial Service & Witness
For those who want to be present during their pet’s cremation, we offer a private memorial service with a witness. This allows you to be involved in the process, bid farewell, and ensure that your pet’s remains are handled with the utmost care and respect. Our dedicated staff will guide you through the process with empathy and attention to your needs.
There is a $525.00 witness fee for this service, in addition to the cost of cremation.
